- Bill cherished 35 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Dixie Burkhart Browning. He was a proud father to son William E. Browning (Vickie) and daughter Amy Browning Ling (Steve), stepfather to Christine Blair Monroy and Amy Blair Hillman (Craig), and a doting grandfather to Christina Terhune (Doug), Zachary Morris (Kristin), Christian Morris (Ali), Mallory Mortl, and Sophia Monroy. His great-grandchildren—Gavin and Morgan Terhune, and Blake Morris—brought him immense joy. Preceded in death by his parents, stepdaughter Peggy Blair, and siblings Carolyn Browning Ramsayer and Jeffrey F. Browning, Bill also shared a close bond with his sister Heidi Browning Heltzel.
