Life & Legacy

Virginia Mae Schneider, affectionately known as Ginni, crafted a vibrant life marked by dedicated service to others, community engagement, and an unwavering spirit that inspired those around her in Fishers.

Born in Paris, Illinois, to Delmar and Odetta Gallatin, Ginni Schneider grew up embracing opportunities to connect and uplift. A graduate of Shortridge High School, she channeled her energy into roles that supported vulnerable individuals and enriched her local community through public speaking and notable introductions of politicians and celebrities at various events.

Ginni made meaningful impacts as a Weight Watchers leader, guiding many toward healthier lives, and as a Special Needs Assistant, where she worked compassionately with autistic children. Her community involvement shone through her role as a speaker, gracefully introducing federal, state, and local politicians alongside well-known celebrities, fostering connections and inspiration.

Family & Loved Ones

Ginni poured her boundless energy into nurturing close-knit family ties, creating a haven of support and shared joy for her husband John Sr., daughter Laura (Steven) Lempereur, granddaughters Ashley Fippen and Amanda (Scott) Moberg, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Schneider. Though she endured the profound losses of her son John Jr., sister Pamela (Williams), and parents Delmar and Odetta, her resilient warmth remained a steady anchor for her loved ones.

Tributes from acquaintances and kin alike capture Ginni's essence as a beacon of kindness and community spirit, with recurring notes on her tireless dedication to helping others and her infectious enthusiasm that brightened every gathering.
