Timothy 'Tim' E. Faulk built a life of steadfast service, blending courage in the face of flames with unwavering family devotion and a resilient spirit that inspired all who crossed his path.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Tim grew into a pillar of his community, defined by his unyielding commitment to protecting others and nurturing those he held dear. Even amid a Parkinson's diagnosis in 2023, he embraced boxing sessions three times weekly at Fight Back Fitness, always accompanied by one of his daughters, showcasing his refusal to yield. Known for his quick wit, reliable listening ear, and talent for sparking laughter, Tim left an indelible mark through stories shared and hands extended in need.
Tim launched his professional journey in 1975 as one of Pike Township Fire Department's inaugural paid firefighters, advancing over 25 years through diverse positions before retiring as Fire Chief in 2000. He then devoted 15 years to Ivy Tech, teaching fire science and safety as a professor while passionately guiding aspiring firefighters into their vital roles.
Family & Loved Ones
Tim poured his energy into creating joyful moments with loved ones, from cheering at his grandchildren's games to embarking on family escapades that strengthened their bonds. His 50-year marriage to Lynn Maines stood as a testament to enduring partnership, while he raised daughters Jessica Sinkovic (Mike) and Jennifer Scheidler (Brian), doting on grandchildren Samantha, Timothy, Leo, and Graham. Surrounded by siblings John Faulk, Jeff Faulk, and Debbie Miles, he mourned the loss of brothers Mike and Rick Faulk, always offering sage counsel and playful support to his entire circle.
