Terry James Spartz crafted a life of steadfast faith, selfless service, and quiet determination, leaving an indelible mark on his community through decades of dedication to family, church, and country.
From his early days in Great Falls, Montana, Terry embraced values of faith, honesty, and resolve that shaped every chapter of his journey. His commitment to others shone brightly in his parish involvement and love for the game of golf, where he fostered bonds of camaraderie and spirituality. Known for his reliable character and tireless effort, Terry stood as a pillar for those around him—a true embodiment of servant-hearted leadership.
Terry proudly donned the uniform of the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1980, rising to Corporal while excelling as a Military Policeman and earning distinction as an Expert Marksman. Beyond military service, his 27 years at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church in Zionsville highlighted his leadership as a Knight of Columbus Grand Knight, Parish Council member, Finance and Building Committee participant, Usher, Security Team member, and Confrere in the Knights of the Holy Temple. He co-founded the St. Alphonsus Golf League, nurturing friendships on the course for 22 years.

Central to Terry's world were the enduring connections he nurtured with his wife of 35 years, Lynn, and their four children: Jessica Molony in Prairieville, Louisiana; Victoria and Vasco in Lisbon, Portugal; Peter and Brianna in Geneva, Illinois; and Emma in Chicago. His joy multiplied with three grandchildren, while his brother Tim and sister-in-law Lori in Jasper, Tennessee, and sister Lori in Daly City, California, rounded out the circle of kin he held dear. Terry's steady reliability made him the go-to source of wisdom and support in every family moment.
