From her early days in Indianapolis, nurtured by parents Eugene and Kathleen Wallace, Suzanne blossomed into a woman of keen intellect and boundless generosity. Her passions for music, literature, and the natural world shaped her pursuits, while her education—from Shortridge High School to Ball State University, where she embraced sorority life with Alpha Omicron Pi, and culminating in a degree from IUPUI's School of Real Estate—fueled her dynamic path. Alongside high school sweetheart Robert G. 'Bob' Auscherman, with whom she shared 59 years of partnership marked by joy, diligence, and collaborative dreams, Suzanne wove a tapestry of experiences that included musical performances, gardening, puzzle-solving, bridge games, and joint ventures in antiquing and restoring homes and furnishings. Her sociable nature drew a wide circle of friends, and her hosting graced many occasions with warmth and wit.
Suzanne thrived over 35 years in real estate, starting at AHM Graves and advancing at F.C. Tucker as a managing agent. Colleagues respected her sharp professionalism, innovative approaches, and tenacious drive. She extended her influence through active roles in the Indianapolis Board of Realtors, Realtors National Marketing Institute, and Women's Council of Realtors, while also contributing her energies to cultural groups like the Women's Symphony Committee, Trinity Madrigal Singers, and Mu Alpha Latreian.

She leaves behind children Wendy Reed and Andy (Natalie) Auscherman; grandchildren Amy, Allie (Kari) and Drew Auscherman, and Cooper Reed; great-grandchild Glen Auscherman; and sister Karen (Bobby) West. Preceded by her devoted husband Bob and son Gregory Eugene Auscherman, she remained a steadfast pillar, enveloping her loved ones—and her cherished nieces and nephews—in humor, tenderness, and unwavering support.
