A proud alumna of Broad Ripple High School, she built a foundation of resilience and curiosity that carried her through decades of meaningful connections and adventures. Her world brightened immeasurably in 1967 when she crossed paths with Michael Shambaugh, her lifelong partner, sharing five decades of marriage until his passing in 2017. Sharron's days were enriched by her passion for karaoke melodies, lively poker nights with loved ones, and an all-consuming love for bingo—often immersing herself in the game four evenings a week alongside her closest companions.
Sharron dedicated more than 25 years to Naval Avionics, where her steadfast commitment and skill supported vital aviation efforts, showcasing her reliability and expertise in a demanding field.
