A devoted member of St. Alphonsus Ligouri parish in Zionsville, he rose to the 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus and held firm with the Benevolent Order of Elks. His commitment shone brightest in volunteering with Bikes for Vets, where his tireless work helped deliver over 10,000 bicycles to those in need. A proud United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, Robert balanced his reflective side with an exuberant love for golf and unwavering loyalty as a long-time season ticket holder for the Indianapolis Colts.
Robert's true professional stride came through his military service in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, forging a foundation of discipline and camaraderie. Beyond that, his volunteer legacy with Bikes for Vets stood out, as he spearheaded efforts to distribute more than 10,000 bicycles, earning special recognition for empowering veterans and others through this initiative. His involvement in the Knights of Columbus and Elks further amplified his contributions to fraternal support and community welfare.
