His sense of duty called him to the U.S. Army in 1954, where he served with pride before building a life centered on hard work, adventure, and unwavering family bonds. Whether casting lines in quiet waters or chasing thrills at the casino, Paul savored every moment, always prioritizing the joy of those around him.
Paul dedicated much of his professional journey to General Motors, rising to the role of supervisor in the automotive sector. His commitment to excellence and leadership provided stability for his family while exemplifying the blue-collar determination that defined his era.

Their union produced three children—Terry L. (Brent) Jones of Conyers, GA; Rhonda M. (partner James Hariston) Jacobs of Stockbridge, GA; and Paul P. (wife Wanda) Newbolt of Indianapolis—along with grandchildren Brian, Brent, Brad, Breonna, Donnie, Paige, Brooke, and Raven, plus a multitude of great-grandchildren. Known for his tireless efforts to support them, Paul brought quiet strength and infectious enthusiasm to every family milestone.
