A proud alumnus of Greensburg Christian Academy, he navigated the world with a magnetic personality that drew people in, blending a wild sense of humor with an innate talent for making others feel truly seen and appreciated. His enthusiasm for cooking defined much of his personal expression; he reveled in the kitchen as a self-styled culinary maestro and avid food enthusiast, sharing meals and stories that fostered deep bonds.

- Fatherhood was McKenzie's greatest joy and purpose, with daughters Anastasia and Aryal at the heart of his universe. He poured his love into their lives through thoughtful gestures like styling their hair or cheering loudly at basketball games and school events. Survived by sisters Sonya Exford (Daniel), Katherine Adams, Lenia Adams, and Sarah Page (Nathan Page); brother Charles Adams; and 14 cherished nieces and nephews, along with numerous aunts and uncles, McKenzie's family circle was vast. He was preceded by parents Charles Sr. and Cassandra Adams, sister Laquita Adams, and brother Aaron Adams.
