Her involvement in Tri-Kappa, Methodist Hospital Task Core, Business and Professional Women, antique car clubs, and St. Luke's United Methodist Church underscored a spirit eager for connection and service.
Marty's nursing journey spanned prestigious venues like Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Germantown in Pennsylvania, and Veteran's and Methodist Hospitals in Indianapolis, where her expertise shone. She extended her talents into private duty care, delivering exceptional skill and empathy that left a lasting mark on patients and peers alike.

Her world also embraced stepson Arthur (Nancy) Morris, step-granddaughters Stephanie and Megan, niece Jennifer (Jeff) Newman, and nephew Mark (Linda) Florey. Preceded by parents Clinton and Lena Florey, brother Charles Florey, ex-husband Joseph Bear, and husbands Howard Morris and Bob Osterhous, she now shares eternal moments with them, her home always a haven of laughter and heartfelt support.
