Page at the hospital where she worked, their first handshake sparking a connection sealed by marriage on January 13, 1962. Together they nurtured a vibrant household while relocating in 1982 from Ferndale, Michigan, to Carmel, Indiana, where she rooted her family deeply. Peggy's days brimmed with pursuits that reflected her joyful essence—hosting friends, mastering Bridge games, diving into book discussions, and tackling crosswords over a chilled Diet Coke. Her Catholic devotion shone brightly at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, alongside active roles in the Carmel Woman's Club and Seton Women's Club, where she forged enduring bonds.

As a dedicated registered nurse, Peggy balanced night shifts with the demands of motherhood, exemplifying resilience and compassion. Her professional commitment supported her growing family, blending caregiving expertise with the quiet strength that defined her approach to life's challenges.

Peggy's world revolved around the expansive circle she built from her roots as an only child, pouring affection into her husband Dennis of 64 years, their four sons—Thomas (Kathleen), Michael (Trisha), Philip (Lori), and Jon (Jennifer)—plus a lively array of grandchildren including Alex, Andrew, Kerigan, Allison, Dan, Benjamin, Devin, Eric, Jacob, Katie, Karly, Kristen, Alex, Molly, Rachel, Grant, Sarah, Tim, and Mackenzie, and great-grandchildren Brady, Collins, Jack, and Theo. She savored every gathering, her gentle humor and reassuring presence turning ordinary moments into cherished traditions.
