Reserved yet brimming with adventure, he embraced the world alongside his wife, ticking off every continent on their travel list, with Antarctica holding a special place in his heart. Beyond his journeys, he immersed himself in creative pursuits like wood burning, painting, crocheting, and playing music, while perfecting his swing on the golf course.

Manjit built an impressive 35-year legacy at Indiana University, where he earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in software engineering before advancing to roles as a professor and project manager. Even in retirement, his drive for innovation shone through as he launched Advent Automation, channeling his problem-solving expertise into fresh endeavors.

Family & Loved Ones

Manjit poured his energy into nurturing those closest to him, from his devoted wife of ten years, Christine Trehan, to his children Kevin Trehan (Megan Reynolds), Samantha Petri, and Kate Petri, along with cherished grandchild Scott Petri. His sister Satinder Ajmani (Harpinder Ajmani), niece Garima Ajmani (Arjun Bahl), and nephew Gaurav Ajmani (Miriam Guzman) were also part of his tight-knit circle. He was preceded by his parents, Ranbir and Davinder Trehan, and his son Sukhvin 'Vince' Trehan, whose memory he held dear.
