He was a loving father to Diane Imhausen and John Stegner, cherishing memories with them while holding eternal affection for his infant son Andrew and daughter Julie. As 'Grandpa' to Jesica, Morgan, and Alyson Stegner, and great-grandfather to Coleson, Crew, Case, and Gatsby Owen, Jr., he showered his family with laughter and wisdom. He also embraced George Imhausen as son-in-law and Jeni Stegner as daughter-in-law, extending his welcoming heart to all. A faithful member of Center Community Church in Plainfield, Indiana, Sandy was a steadfast neighbor and friend whose humor bridged every gap.
