Life & Legacy

Jerry Lee Holman charged through life with unyielding spirit and infectious enthusiasm, leaving an indelible mark as a devoted Hoosier whose passions burned bright for family, sports, and the open road.

Born in 1949 to Dewey Earlis Holman and Cormie Felma Massey, Jerry grew into a bold personality who spoke his mind without hesitation, blending fiery determination with a stubborn charm that drew people in. A true Indiana enthusiast, he roared his support for the Pacers, Colts, and Fever—particularly thrilled by Caitlin Clark's dazzling plays. His devotion to Harley-Davidson motorcycles matched his craving for hearty steak and potatoes dinners, and no one could resist joining him for those rituals. Each day began with a ritual of black coffee and a breakfast sandwich, setting the tone for his full-speed-ahead approach, powered by sharp humor and heartfelt zeal.
