Finan's world brimmed with bold pursuits—from national triathlon rankings to daring water ski jumps he never quite nailed but relished attempting. Lifeguarding summers and transforming a school bus into a road-trip haven with buddies showcased his knack for weaving fun into everyday life, all underpinned by a radiant smile and fearless outlook that uplifted everyone around him.
Finan was charting a promising path in Aeronautical Engineering Technology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, fueled by his ROTC involvement and strong ambition to become an Air Force fighter pilot. His high school achievements, including top-30 class ranking with academic and technical honors, laid a solid foundation for these aspirations, blending technical prowess with leadership potential.
