Summers at Dale Hollow Lake became cherished traditions, weaving bonds through lake breezes and laughter. Evelyn's days revolved around needlepoint, yard tending, cruises, and immersive reading, while her seamstress talents shone in handmade creations. With Gene, she manned woodworking booths at craft shows, blending their skills into community delights. Above all, she treasured classic black-and-white films, especially those starring Bette Davis, evoking the golden era of cinema. As a steadfast Christian, she enriched Faith Presbyterian Church through fellowship and group crafting.
Evelyn's professional path exemplified diligence, as she served as a secretary across multiple firms before dedicating 20 years to Dow Chemical, where her steadfast commitment left a lasting mark until retirement.
