Ed savored the uncomplicated joys—sipping a favorite beverage, fishing along Patoka Lake or the White River, and letting jazz, blues, or Motown tunes wash over him—moments that captured his appreciation for tradition and ease.

Ed poured his energy into his role as Team Lead Supervisor at Whirlpool Ryder, where his leadership, tireless effort, and pursuit of quality inspired those around him. His professional dedication mirrored the respect he commanded, building a reputation for reliability and guidance that uplifted his team.

A source of pride were his daughters, Shun Radford and husband David, and Shannon Taylor and husband Larry, along with grandchildren Daimien Weems, Sierra White, Shamar White, and Dorian Radford, plus great-granddaughter Amiyah Shelton. His home rang with delight from beloved dogs, and his candid yet tender demeanor made him an exceptional grandfather, partner, and confidant.
