Following his graduation from South Newton High School in 1992, he proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. He honed his skills as a Certified Commercial Diver in New Jersey, advanced to Journeyman Electrician, and later excelled as an Electrical Engineer Technician. Settling into his role as Industrial Maintenance Manager, he brought precision and innovation to every task, while his personal ventures—like crafting a custom CNC router for woodworking and experimenting with home brewery setups—highlighted his genius for problem-solving.

He shared three decades with his soulmate and wife, Tammy Garcia Lewis, whom he wed on July 14, 2001, after meeting in Corpus Christi, Texas. Together they raised their children, Lauren, Luke, and Layla, fostering a home alive with laughter, dance sessions in the living room, and impromptu rock sing-alongs during meal prep. A loyal son to Cynthia and brother to Jennifer Trout, he delighted in time with nephews Adam and Ben, often firing up the grill in any weather or tinkering on his trusty 20-year-old truck. His faith guided quiet acts of service at St. Maria Goretti parish, where he and his family delivered food and holiday gifts to neighbors in need.
