- Don shared 22 fulfilling years with his beloved wife, Sandra Tunis, finding delight in ballroom dancing lessons together. He was a pillar for his children, Joseph Hay and Sarah Gurstelle, and stepchildren Jacob Holub, Shoshanah Bruesewitz, and John A. McArdle, while doting on his six grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Diana Hay, sister Cynthia Seegull, and former wife Linda Hay, Don poured love, support, and fun into his family bonds. His passions included playing the trumpet, savoring jazz, reminiscing about his five years in Montana with the Public Health Service, and his unforgettable experience at the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival.
