Connie Sue Moser crafted a life rich with creativity, unwavering family bonds, and joyful participation in her community's rhythms, leaving behind a tapestry of handmade quilts and cherished memories that warm the hearts of all who knew her.
Born in the small town of Cyril, Oklahoma, to Billy and Peggy Brown, Connie's journey took her from high school hallways to building a enduring partnership with her sweetheart Ronny Moser. Their union began in 1974 amid the college years at Oklahoma State University, where she pursued and completed an associate's degree. As Ronny advanced his studies at the University of Nebraska, Connie stood steadfastly by his side. Her true passion emerged in nurturing a welcoming home filled with love, artistic pursuits like quilting masterpieces for loved ones, spirited card games, steadfast church involvement, and enthusiastic cheering at every family sporting event and school milestone.
While her formal education culminated in an associate's degree from Oklahoma State University, Connie channeled her energies into the vital role of homemaker and family anchor. She poured her talents into quilting, producing dozens of intricate, heartfelt pieces distributed among relatives and friends, each stitch embodying her meticulous skill and generous spirit. Her support extended to bolstering Ronny's graduate pursuits at the University of Nebraska, demonstrating her commitment to shared dreams.
Family & Loved Ones
Connie wove her deepest affections into the fabric of daily life alongside husband Ronny, their two sons Drew (with Bekah) and Travis (with Annette), and a lively crew of grandchildren—Benjamin, Eloisa, Samuel, Charlotte, Stella, James, Cora, and William—who basked in her superfan energy at their events. Her world expanded to include sister Shirley Liles, brother Mike Brown, and cousin Michelle Wein, connections she nurtured with the same precision she applied to her quilts. Preceding her were parents Billy and Peggy, along with cousin JoAnn Gibson, yet her home remained a hub of laughter, card games, and unwavering support.
