Life & Legacy
Born in the Naval Hospital at Great Lakes, Illinois, Scott grew into a man defined by profound tenderness and generosity. His life radiated love for family, animals, and simple pleasures like music, sports, and bowling leagues where he shone brightly. Instilled with patriotism from his father's exemplary Marine service and his own military experience, Scott carried a deep sense of duty. A survivor of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma for 18 years and over 19 years sober through the bonds of his AA community, he exemplified strength and gratitude. In his later years, he discovered a profound spiritual renewal, accepting Christ and eagerly sharing his faith with newfound joy at Gateway Community Church.
