On March 11, 1950, she united in marriage with Billy Scott Sedam, building a foundation for a family-centered existence. As a dedicated homemaker, she poured her energy into nurturing her home and loved ones, finding delight in tending gardens, preparing meals, and stitching creations by hand. Above all, her profound, selfless affection defined her interactions, creating enduring connections that spanned her 94 years.

Betty devoted her days to homemaking, where she excelled in creating a welcoming home through her talents in gardening, cooking, and sewing—skills that sustained and delighted her family for decades.
