Anna Marie Mahon crafted a life rich with simple joys, heartfelt hospitality, and unbreakable family ties, leaving behind a tapestry of cherished moments that warmed generations.

Born in the coastal charm of Placentia, Newfoundland, Canada, to John and Violet Gale, Anna Marie's world expanded when she crossed paths with Raymond Mahon, a U.S. Navy serviceman posted nearby. Their romance blossomed into a 56-year marriage starting in 1960, a partnership marked by enduring affection until his passing in 2017. Anna poured her energy into homemaking, transforming her home into a haven of order and delight. Her kitchen was a hub of creativity, where she whipped up delectable meals and her legendary potato salad that drew rave reviews from all who tasted it. Leisure filled her days with the thrill of shopping sprees, the satisfaction of cracking tough crossword clues, the excitement of scratch-off tickets, and lively Bingo outings. Yet nothing rivaled the magic of Saturday game nights, where laughter echoed as she bonded with her children and grandchildren.

Anna Marie dedicated herself fully to the art of homemaking, excelling in the creation of immaculate surroundings and nourishing gatherings that strengthened family connections and created lasting traditions.
