Life & Legacy
Aislynn Michal Ball radiated joy, kindness, and compassion throughout her 24 years, transforming personal trials into acts of profound service and leaving an indelible light on her family, friends, and community.
From her earliest days, Aislynn embodied a vibrant spirit grounded in Catholic faith, generosity, and an unyielding love for those around her. Born to Steve and Ashleigh Ball, she approached life with enthusiasm, savoring simple pleasures and forging deep connections. Even as a rare disease progressively challenged her, Aislynn's determination shone through, allowing her to pursue passions like reading, biking, cross-country running, photography, gardening, baking, crafting rosaries, and movie nights. Family traditions, such as intense UNO games and thrilling roller coaster outings at Cedar Point with her dad, filled her heart with delight. Her time at Riley Children's Hospital over eleven years inspired a selfless mission to uplift other young patients facing similar struggles.
In high school, Aislynn channeled her empathy into founding Aislynn's Angels, crafting comforting blankets and coloring book kits for fellow patients at Riley Children's Hospital. This initiative brought warmth, encouragement, and a sense of solidarity to children in treatment. Her fierce commitment to education persisted despite her illness; she attended school whenever possible and celebrated her 2019 graduation from Fishers High School as a testament to her resilient perseverance.
